Frantic

 

"Frantic" my solo show, keenly produced and curated by Baco about photographs, have just closed at Baco's gallery. For the finissage a street installation was created in via Alloro in Palermo with some posters from my former contribution to "Position Palermo Palermo", curated by D.P., printed last summer at Minimum lab, now  also on view at Museo Civico Castelbuono. And three brand new pieces from installation are going to be shipped to

Mar - Museo d'Arte della città di Ravenna- for "Looking On. Sguardi e prospettive sulla nuova fotografia italiana" a collective exhibition about Italian emerging photography,curated by Osservatorio Fotografico, where I have been nominee by Federica Chiocchetti.

 

I’m impressed by how many constellations of meaning I have been able to create around "The untitled box" project, working on it for almost 10 years now, generated fanzines, artist books, printed matter and eventually beautiful silver gelatin prints. It goes without saying I’m very thankful to all the people I have met through my work and for sharing with all them this process. And I’m craving to start all the process over and over again.
